    Drew Caplin, MD
Interventional Radiologist & Medical Education Leader

Drew has spent 19 years proving that education and quality improvement are the foundation of sustainable healthcare. As program director for multiple radiology residency programs and a Fellow of both the American College of Radiology and Society of Interventional Radiology, he’s shaped the next generation of physicians while simultaneously working to eliminate waste in current practice. Drew chairs the American College of Radiology’s Division of Practice Parameters and Technical Standards and serves on the Society of Interventional Radiology’s Quality and Practice Improvement Committee—roles where he directly tackles the redundancy and waste that drive up healthcare costs. His approach is simple: improve patient experience while reducing environmental impact, because the two goals aren’t just compatible—they’re inseparable.
